Web Portals:

A portal is a website considered as an entry point to other websites, often by being or providing access to a search engine.
Confused? Think of a web portal as an airport, Tribhuwan International Airport – if you will, where airlines of different countries come to land bringing thousands of passengers in a day. From there, they could go anywhere they want to. It is something like that! In a web portal, different company websites are linked (listed) in one website and you could pick and choose (click the links) from the list accessing any company website you feel like visiting.
However, it doesn’t end there!

In near future, we are launching 2 web portals.

1.  Travel Portal:

The idea is to bring in all STAND-ALONE websites of various businesses related to travel trade industry in Nepal into one website from which you can access all the individual websites listed in it.

Think Stand alone website as an individual office or a travel/ trekking agency or a single hotel. So, in the cyber world, where about 234 million websites got uploaded as of December 2009, your stand alone website will easily get lost if not anchored strongly in that sea of web-pages. We will have all the information regarding and related to Nepal Tourism as well in the portal.

Take it as an online EXPO where many travel related businesses come underneath one roof to offer their products/ services to buyers from all over the world.However, it gets better when you are into cyberspace. Unlike physical expo where people will have to come to the expo venue, this online expo venue can be sent all over the world…..

Internet is always evolving. It is so very dynamic.

2. Banks Portal:

This is another of our online products that’s coming to you in the near future.

There are 27 commercial banks in Nepal as of 22 April 2010. Think of how much time, sweat, money; not to mention mental pressure and irritations) you will spend going over to each of them on foot to make inquiries you need to make? And, we haven’t said anything about Development Banks! Other finance companies!! Insurance Companies and all!Imagine what happens if all of them were brought into one platform where you can check them each of them at your convenience…your time…from the place of your choice…no sweat…and in the fraction of money you would spend doing the
rounds to check them physically?

Yes, that’s what’s happens when you come to our banks portal! There you would find all the information (from opening an account to inquiring for a loan). With the click of mouse! Further, there would be a facility to link you directly to the choice of your bank. We will even facilitate in your work…help you with your selection process!
